Merchandise Manager
· Must be able to provide leadership to the
design and production departments.
· Develop and maintain a time and action calendar.
· Strong in fashion trends that are best interpreted for
our customer base: the sophisticated career woman, who is between
the ages of 35 and 45 and likes fashion but is not too "trendy." She
needs her career suiting but also opts for softer feminine lifestyle
options.
· Responsible for merchandise planning and store allocation
direction.
· Work with the marketing department to provide directives
at the store level on fashion trends and "key item" promotions.
· Travel to Europe and Asia is essential.
